Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Provides housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas and other areas as directed
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
• Ensures that work/cleaning schedules are followed and equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services in resident living and recreational areas
• Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures
• Discards infectious wastes into appropriate containers

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required
