House Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of residential services in Springwood
• Mentor and provide reflective supervision to a team of youth workers
• Implement the CARE model to ensure a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment
• Build professional, trusting relationships with children and young people
• Manage staff rostering to ensure safe and appropriate staffing levels
• Coordinate the intake, transition, and exit processes for young people in care
• Assist with the development and implementation of Departmental and LWB Case Plans
• Maintain accurate client information within the CIRTS database

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Child, Youth or Family Interventions (or working towards it)
• Experience managing 24-hour residential services for vulnerable people
• Demonstrated experience in team management and leadership
• Experience working with children and young people experiencing trauma and disadvantage
• Ability to manage crises and complex, challenging situations
• Current Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
• First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
