House Manager & Family Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning routines, breakfast, and school lunch prep
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities using Montessori-style prompting
• Prepare backpacks daily and handle school drop-off/pick-up
• Perform daily household resets of counters, floors, and surfaces
• Create and maintain organizational systems and checklists
• Manage household supply lists, grocery shopping, and pantry restocking
• Manage indoor plant care and maintain smart devices
• Oversee vendor visits such as gardeners or contractors
• Prepare simple, family-friendly meals following dietary preferences
• Manage household calendar, travel logistics, and vehicle maintenance

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to maintain a smoke-free environment
• Experience working with young children
• Proactive mindset with experience in household organization
• Tech-savvy (familiarity with Notion is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccination
• Spanish language proficiency
• Knowledge of nutrition and macro-conscious cooking
• Familiarity with Montessori principles or conscious parenting
• Experience with indoor plant care
