House Manager & Family Assistant

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain household organization systems for closets, pantry, and storage
• Reset and tidy rooms daily, including making beds and preparing for cleaning services
• Manage household inventory, grocery shopping, and restocking of supplies
• Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing
• Provide meal support through prep work and preparing simple, healthy family dinners
• Oversee pet care including feeding, walking dogs, and maintaining parakeet care
• Manage vehicle upkeep, including scheduling maintenance and ensuring cleanliness
• Coordinate with service providers such as cleaners, landscapers, and contractors
• Assist with administrative tasks like managing family calendars and household checklists
• Execute deep cleaning projects and seasonal organization tasks

Requirements

• Ability to maintain a smoke-free environment
• Successful completion of a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfort working around pets (two dogs and a parakeet)
• Comfort working in a busy household with children present
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
