About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a dedicated team of Therapeutic Residential Carers in a 24/7 residential care setting
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of two residential care homes for young people in Out of Home Care
- Ensure staff and young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with families, communities, and stakeholders to build strong support networks
- Support young people in maintaining meaningful relationships with family, community, and culture
- Foster an inclusive, strengths-based, and supportive team environment
Requirements
- Cert IV in Child & Family Intervention or a relevant qualification (or currently working towards it)
- Experience working with at-risk children, vulnerable people, or those in Child Protection services
- Experience in a 24/7 residential care setting in a senior or supervisor role
- Valid unrestricted Australian driver's licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Ability to clear National Criminal History, Working with Children, and NT Child Protection checks
