Hotel Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase hotel revenue across room bookings, events, and group business
• Generate new business through cold calling, lead follow-up, and strategic prospecting
• Visit local businesses, hospitals, and government offices to secure long-term accounts
• Attend networking events and industry gatherings to enhance brand visibility
• Conduct property tours and presentations for potential clients
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts to ensure repeat business
• Support marketing initiatives including social media and local outreach
• Track leads and sales activities to meet or exceed revenue goals
• Collaborate with the General Manager to optimize sales strategies

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry
• Proficiency in cold calling, outside sales, and in-person networking
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Cvent, or Lanyon Event systems
