About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Sales with daily operations, reporting, and administrative tasks
- Handle group booking requests from inquiry to contract, including preparing banquet event orders (BEOs), agreements, and confirmations
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices while ensuring compliance with brand standards
- Maintain and update the sales database/CRM with leads, prospects, and client information
- Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for management review
- Coordinate site visits, client meetings, and follow-ups with potential accounts
- Collaborate with front desk, reservations, housekeeping, and food & beverage departments to ensure flawless execution of events
- Support sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and community outreach programs
- Build strong relationships with repeat clients and corporate accounts to maximize revenue
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hotel sales, catering sales, or event coordination experience
- Familiarity with hotel property management and sales systems such as Opera, Delphi, or SalesPro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening or weekend business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
