Hotel Room Attendant

Responsibilities

• Load housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies and maintain cleanliness of storage rooms
• Strip beds in checked-out rooms and deliver dirty linens to the laundry
• Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces
• Sanitize showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items while replacing used guest amenities
• Ensure all electricity and lights are turned off in vacated rooms
• Inspect rooms for safety hazards, equipment operating conditions, and damaged linens
• Report maintenance problems, lost and found articles, or special room issues to a supervisor
• Prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests promptly
• Work in a fast-paced environment to ensure rooms are cleaned within established timeframes

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is required
• Previous customer service experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor and lifting tasks
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
