Hotel Negotiator Lead-Custom Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Manage task-specific activities within the Hotel Custom Team, including workload allocation and resource assignment
• Support the design, implementation, and management of custom hotel lodging programs for clients
• Schedule, train, motivate, and monitor the progress of team members against established goals and benchmarks
• Build and maintain rapport with hotel contacts across management and franchise companies
• Manage internal and client reporting to ensure all pre-determined deadlines are met
• Track employee productivity, monitor call queues, and provide coaching based on performance expectations
• Handle escalation calls and collaborate with other departments to resolve concerns
• Provide input on team member progress for performance evaluations

Requirements

• Superior verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
• Strong professional background in sales, purchasing, and customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience
• Associate's degree or equivalent
