Hotel Maintenance Supervisor

About the Company

The Bright Hotel is reimagining hotel operations by leveraging a tech-forward approach to the guest experience. We are currently building out a portfolio of hotels focused on health and wellness called Vitality Hotels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all engineering and maintenance activities to ensure high quality workmanship
• Establish schedules and oversee performance of all preventive maintenance activities
• Oversee Life Safety and emergency related procedures and training
• Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs performed
• Perform periodic visual inspections of all property assets
• Coordinate/monitor energy consumption to attain optimal efficiency
• Manage interviewing, hiring, training, and performance appraisals for maintenance staff
• Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
• Proficient in basic computer applications and technology
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Ability to lift/carry 25-100 lbs and stand for long periods
• Ability to work day shifts with flexibility for evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospitality industry experience
• Technical licenses or certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
