Hotel Engineering Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily engineering and maintenance operations throughout the hotel
• Perform and oversee preventative maintenance programs for guest rooms and public areas
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, appliances, and other building systems
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and work orders
• Coordinate vendor projects, obtain bids, and assist with project management and capital improvements
• Maintain the appearance of guest corridors, public spaces, and exterior areas
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure work orders are documented and completed through property management software
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and hotel leadership to support daily operations
• Coach, support, and hold team members accountable to performance expectations

Requirements

• Previous engineering or maintenance leadership experience, preferably in hospitality
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and general building systems
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and property improvement projects
• Proficiency in property management systems, work order software, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform frequent walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
