Hotel Engineer

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls
• Perform repairs in guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas
• Troubleshoot and repair PTAC units, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical fixtures
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on guest rooms and hotel equipment
• Maintain mechanical systems including boilers, chillers, and cooling towers
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and Marriott brand standards
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to manage room availability

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hotel engineering experience required
• Strong knowledge of hotel mechanical systems
• Experience using preventive maintenance programs
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Marriott hotel experience
• Experience in a full-service hotel
• Proficiency with Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Knowledge of Fire Life Safety Systems
