Hot Glass Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach four fine arts courses ranging from introductory to advanced levels
• Manage, maintain, and supervise the hot glass shop, cold shop, and welding studio
• Collaborate with the Fine Arts faculty to create and review curriculum
• Participate in the residential life of the school, including advising, dormitory association, and coaching
• Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of a diverse student body

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficiency in hot glass and cold working processes
• Experience with metal work and welding
• Ability to manage and maintain specialized studio equipment
• Commitment to working and living in a residential boarding school environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Additional skills in sculpture, glass, or other art and design mediums
