Host/Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet all visitors to the restaurant and execute service per Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain deep knowledge of food, cocktail, liquor, wine, and beer products
• Assist in maintaining general cleanliness of the restaurant
• Perform preparatory duties including polishing, folding, and table setup
• Ensure accuracy and detail of reservations
• Comply with all hotel, local, state, and federal regulations regarding food and alcohol service
• Accurately handle cash and reconcile financials at the end of the shift
• Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure efficient service

Requirements

• Three to six months of related customer service experience or equivalent
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships with guests and employees
