Host/Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate wait times and manage guest expectations
• Manage the seating chart to ensure fair table allocation
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and condiments
• Answer phone calls for reservations and basic resort inquiries
• Participate in daily cleaning operations including bathrooms and floors
• Assist as a server, food runner, or busser if needed
• Perform snow removal and move deck furniture as required

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to communicate in English
• Proficient in guest service principles
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• High School graduate
• TIPS Certification
• Experience with POS systems or Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of reservation systems
