Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a personalised welcome
• Manage guest seating and optimal table allocation
• Escort guests to tables and present menus
• Manage daily reservations using the restaurant booking system
• Handle walk-ins, waiting lists, and guest preferences
• Coordinate table allocation with service and management teams
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout arrival and departure
• Address minor concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and entrance area

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Hostess in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant preferred
• Strong understanding of guest service and front-of-house operations
• Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable or ResDiary is an advantage
• Excellent spoken English
• Professional appearance and polished communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
