Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner at dining hall entrances
• Verify guest identity by checking ID card photos and swiping cards to confirm active meal plans
• Accept payments for individual meal purchases and operate card-reading equipment
• Provide information regarding dining services and handle guest inquiries
• Manage ineligible entries by remaining calm and professional when challenging guests
• Maintain a clean dining environment by bussing tables and removing dirty dishes and trash
• Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, spot mopping floors, and straightening chairs
• Refill dining room essentials such as napkin holders, salt, and pepper shakers

Requirements

• High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to move and transport objects weighing 25–30 pounds
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs and work in a static position for extended periods
• Flexible schedule including variable weekday hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, intense work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service
