About the role
Responsibilities
- Welcome incoming customers, check-in reservations, and escort guests to tables
- Maintain the front entryway, coat check area, and customer restrooms
- Manage waiting times and respect the order of arrival
- Update table statuses and client profiles in the reservation system
- Perform side work related to opening and closing the front desk
- Assist with clearing and setting tables between seatings
- Communicate seating delays or customer dissatisfaction to management
Requirements
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment
- Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain one
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- 1+ years of similar hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
