About the role

Responsibilities

  • Welcome incoming customers, check-in reservations, and escort guests to tables
  • Maintain the front entryway, coat check area, and customer restrooms
  • Manage waiting times and respect the order of arrival
  • Update table statuses and client profiles in the reservation system
  • Perform side work related to opening and closing the front desk
  • Assist with clearing and setting tables between seatings
  • Communicate seating delays or customer dissatisfaction to management

Requirements

  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment
  • Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • 1+ years of similar hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
