Host

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm and professional welcome
• Manage reservations, seating plans, and waitlists to ensure efficient service flow
• Monitor guest arrivals and table allocations to maximize dining experience
• Handle guest enquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism
• Maintain accurate guest information within the booking platform
• Coordinate with Restaurant Managers and Front of House teams regarding VIPs and availability
• Assist in managing large bookings and peak service periods
• Maintain high standards for the host stand and entry areas

Requirements

• Experience in a Host, Front of House, or customer-facing hospitality role
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to manage guest expectations in a busy restaurant environment
• Highly organized with exceptional communication skills
• Proficiency with reservation systems; SevenRooms experience is highly regarded
