Hospitality Associate

Responsibilities

• Facilitate food services for employees, including the setup and breakdown of meals, refreshments, and snacks in cafeterias and micro cafes
• Manage inventory by receiving and stocking food and beverage deliveries using the FIFO (first-in, first-out) method
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by wiping down countertops, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning equipment
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe service environment
• Handle and resolve issues in a fast-paced food service setting
• Conduct routine maintenance on kitchen equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Assist with budgeting and cost control principles to manage resources efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a cafeteria or similar hospitality/catering role
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices
• Ability to stand for long periods (upwards of six hours) and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and lifting 50+ lbs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• High school diploma or equivalent
