Hospitality and Retail Intern

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage visitors, offering information and wayfinding assistance
• Assist with sanctuary shop opening, closing, inventory, and sales transactions
• Support bed and breakfast operations including guest check-in, checkout, and housekeeping
• Address guest inquiries about the sanctuary mission and local attractions
• Coordinate onsite experiences and assist with event planning and execution
• Support cafe operations during events and help solicit in-kind donations

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Professional and gracious in high-volume situations
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to perform physical labor and moderate lifting
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
