Hospital Maintenance Circuit Rider

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple hospital facilities across the Pacific Islands to assess maintenance needs
• Develop and implement routine and periodic maintenance plans tailored to each hospital
• Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance activities and tool management
• Evaluate and improve work order management systems
• Provide on-site technical training and support to local hospital staff
• Conduct bi-annual assessments and follow-up visits to ensure procedure compliance
• Document findings and recommendations in detailed reports
• Assist in writing and reviewing grant proposals for maintenance-related projects

Requirements

• 4-year degree in engineering, a technical field, or business management OR 10 years of facilities management experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital or medical facilities maintenance
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Course or equivalent certification
• Valid passport and driver's license
• Ability to travel extensively (approximately 50% annually)
• Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse, multicultural environments
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including climbing stairs without assistance

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the Pacific Islands or tribal areas
• Experience working with diverse teams and navigating language barriers
