About the role

Responsibilities

  • Transport patients to various locations throughout the hospital for tests and procedures
  • Pick up and deliver specimens, supplies, instruments, and equipment
  • Monitor and replenish medical and other supplies
  • Perform cleaning and set up activities for equipment and work areas
  • Adhere to Body Substance Precaution practices

Requirements

  • Completion of high school or recognized equivalent
  • Ability to understand verbal work orders and written instructions
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Compliance with sanitary and infection control requirements
