About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level sales goals in the New Orleans market.
  • Drive performance for a long-acting injectable schizophrenia therapy through institutional selling efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital staff, and P&T committees.
  • Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, market access, and specialty pharmacy facilities to ensure product availability and formulary placement.
  • Analyze weekly and monthly data reports to identify trends and address territory concerns.
  • Work with discharge coordinators to understand patient follow-up treatment and transitions of care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Proven experience in a hospital setting.
  • Detailed understanding of buy and bill models, formulary placement, and P&T committees.
  • Valid US driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region, including potential overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically in the long-acting injectable schizophrenia space.
  • Background in psychiatric therapeutic areas.
  • Experience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care.
  • Experience with injectable and in-office administration within mental health facilities.
