About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level sales goals in the New Orleans market.
- Drive performance for a long-acting injectable schizophrenia therapy through institutional selling efforts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital staff, and P&T committees.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing to current and potential customers.
- Collaborate with sales leadership, market access, and specialty pharmacy facilities to ensure product availability and formulary placement.
- Analyze weekly and monthly data reports to identify trends and address territory concerns.
- Work with discharge coordinators to understand patient follow-up treatment and transitions of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Proven experience in a hospital setting.
- Detailed understanding of buy and bill models, formulary placement, and P&T committees.
- Valid US driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region, including potential overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically in the long-acting injectable schizophrenia space.
- Background in psychiatric therapeutic areas.
- Experience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care.
- Experience with injectable and in-office administration within mental health facilities.
