Hospice Spiritual Counselor

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and members of the Hospice Team

Requirements

• One year of experience in pastoral/spiritual counseling regarding illness, death, grief, and bereavement
• Baccalaureate Degree
• Recognition as a Pastoral or Spiritual Counselor

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree
• Minimum two units of Clinical Pastoral education
• Credentialed Chaplain or Board Certified Chaplain
• At least one year of hospice experience
