For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospital provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate applications through the admission review process
• Coordinate and maintain referrer relationships with assigned institutions and agencies
• Participate in the development and marketing of Calvary Hospital’s Home Care and Hospice Services
• Provide pre-admission assistance to patients, families, and referrers

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Permit
• Minimum of three years relevant clinical experience
• Working knowledge of inpatient, out-patient, home care, and hospice
• Knowledge of admission/continued stay criteria and third party payers
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
