Hospice Registered Nurse Preceptor

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled end-of-life care to patients and families
• Serve as a mentor, educator, and clinical resource for nurses
• Manage a patient caseload and coordinate individualized care
• Guide new clinicians through orientation and provide coaching
• Promote best practices and reinforce quality standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
• Current State License as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospice or home health
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred
