Hospice Registered Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, skilled hospice care during overnight hours
• Assess and manage urgent symptoms and provide skilled nursing interventions
• Support families through crisis moments with clinical expertise and compassion
• Coordinate closely with physicians and the hospice team to ensure continuity of care
• Travel daily within the service area to provide care in homes, assisted living, or nursing homes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
• Current State License as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 1 year experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance coverage
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Hospice or home health experience
• Previous after-hours or on-call experience
