Hospice Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation regarding palliative care services to patients in a community setting
• Perform physical assessments for patients facing serious and complex illnesses
• Work within a collaborative team practice that maintains the patient as the central focus
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to support care goals

Requirements

• Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Nurse Practitioner Certification in area of specialty
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
• Current DEA registration
• Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
