About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide palliative care consultation to patients within community settings
- Perform physical assessments for patients facing serious and complex illnesses
- Work within a collaborative team practice that maintains the patient as the central focus
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans
Requirements
- Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Nurse Practitioner Certification in area of specialty
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts
- Current DEA registration and Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Excellent computer skills and ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
