Hospice Licensed Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and casework services to patients and families experiencing terminal illness
• Manage the psychosocial status of patients and families throughout the end-of-life process
• Address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families
• Support patients and families through the grief recovery process

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school, OR a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with 2+ years of Hospice/Palliative Care experience, OR a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with 3+ years of Hospice/Palliative Care experience
• Valid LCSW or LICSW licensure to practice in Massachusetts

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Previous experience in Hospice or Palliative Care
