About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead hospice care delivery with clinical excellence and compassion
- Oversee a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and spiritual care providers
- Ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and operational excellence
- Partner with field staff, physicians, and leadership to shape care delivery
- Support staff development and drive continuous improvement in hospice services
- Provide on-call administrative phone support for after-hours field staff
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Current State License as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance
- Ability to travel moderately within the service area
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Hospice or home health experience
- Management or supervisory experience
