Hospice Clinical Director

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical personnel
• Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure quality of services
• Perform chart audits and gather data for QAPI activities
• Appraise clinical staff performance and provide necessary teaching and counseling
• Identify and evaluate patient needs and appropriateness of home care
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, State, and ACHC regulations
• Assist the Director of Nursing with various management responsibilities

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in home hospice or skilled home care
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing with required years of progressive professional responsibility
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and ACHC standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
