Horticulture Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist in planting seeds, bulbs, and seedlings, as well as watering, pruning, and fertilizing plants.
• Prepare soil for planting by tilling, adding compost or fertilizers, and ensuring proper drainage.
• Monitor plants for signs of pests or diseases and apply appropriate treatments.
• Use and maintain gardening tools and equipment, including pruners, hoes, and irrigation systems.
• Maintain records of planting schedules, treatments applied, and other relevant horticultural activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, particularly when handling chemicals or operating machinery.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of plant care and gardening.
• Physical stamina for outdoor work and manual labor.
• Ability to operate various gardening tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• 1-3 years of work experience preferred.
