Horizontal Directional Drilling Locator

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD Locator equipment to guide drill bore paths for underground utility installations
• Identify and monitor underground obstacles and existing utilities
• Ensure utilities are properly located and potholed
• Perform potholing, equipment setup, conduit placement, and pedestal installation
• Adapt to varying ground and weather conditions to maintain project efficiency
• Maintain accurate job records, documentation, and tool tracking
• Keep jobsites clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience with HDD locating
• Strong knowledge of underground construction and safety practices
• Physical ability to perform demanding field work in various outdoor weather conditions
• Valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred)
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
