Hood Cleaning Technician Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist crew members with cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust hood systems
• Support pressure washing and degreasing of hood canopies, ductwork, and exhaust fans
• Help prepare job sites, equipment, and materials
• Assist with inspections and equipment reassembly
• Maintain clean work areas and company vehicles
• Follow all safety policies and use required PPE
• Work flexible hours including nights and early mornings

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in heavy-labor, industrial, or commercial cleaning
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to work in hot, cold, and dirty environments
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 75 lbs
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in pressure washing or construction labor
• Experience in commercial kitchen hood cleaning
• IKECA certification or willingness to obtain it
