Homologation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and detail homologation requirements for CMVR components based on business needs
• Coordinate engineering, testing, and certification activities for CMVR controlled components with internal teams and test agencies
• Define, monitor, and review homologation needs throughout the product life cycle
• Evaluate ECR/ECNs for homologation impacts and review implementation requirements
• Provide documentation for systems, testing, and engineering teams to enable CMVR requirement capturing and validation
• Provide necessary process, documentation, and audit requirements to stakeholders for compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Metallurgy, Mechatronics, Automobile, or Reliability engineering
• 2+ years of experience in complex electromechanical system integration and evaluation
• Experience understanding tests, failures, and test methods related to homologation and type approval
• Familiarity with AIS/UNECE standards and documentation for CMVR approval
• Proficiency in data analysis and data management
• Understanding of basic electrical/electronic circuits and line diagrams
• Knowledge of battery and charger systems
• Knowledge of CMVR and non-CMVR requirements for electrical and mechanical systems
