Homologation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and prepare quotations
• Manage Type approval and Conformity of Production (COP) according to Indian and European regulations
• Prepare documentation and applications for component and vehicle Type approval
• Coordinate testing activities and manage logistics for test samples and vehicles
• Coordinate with inspectors and officers at test agencies for scheduling and execution
• Witness tests at client sites or agencies and support maintenance or repairs
• Prepare test reports and related documentation
• Use Navision and PAMPOL to manage projects, costs, and follow-ups

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in Type approval management or Homologation
• B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
• Understanding of test specifications and regulations (AIS, ECE, FMVSS, OEM)
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and local language
• Familiarity with all documentation required for Homologation
• Possession of a driving license for Motorcycle and LMV-NT preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing contacts with ARAI, VRDE, CIRT, or ICAT officials
