Home Visitor

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly home visits to participating families to enhance parent-child relationships.
• Plan developmentally appropriate curriculum in collaboration with parents to promote child growth and development.
• Support families by sharing information about appropriate resources and assisting through the referral process.
• Help plan group activities and educational opportunities for parents.

Requirements

• Home Visitor CDA, or an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Services, or a related field.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Successful completion of a criminal record check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between program locations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with Head Start or Early Head Start programs.
• Previous experience in home visiting roles.
