Home Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping, companionship, and in-home support to individuals, seniors, and families
• Assist with meal preparation
• Ensure client safety, comfort, and mental well-being
• Transport clients for appointments and shopping
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
• Provide planned and short-notice coverage for staff members

Requirements

• Strong housekeeping and social skills
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, stand, walk, and climb stairs
• Physical strength for lifting and vacuuming
• Ability to travel on gravel roads in all weather conditions
• Valid class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Possession of a cell phone for work purposes
• Clear police information check and vulnerable sector check
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
