Home Loans Member Advocate

Responsibilities

• Perform retention, loan restructure, and customer service efforts in a mortgage environment
• Make outbound calls to existing members to provide resolutions and retain business
• Restructure loan files to meet agency guidelines and communicate changes to borrowers
• Identify sales opportunities and optimize retention strategies
• Work with secondary markets to ensure profitability margins are met
• Manage escalated files to improve lock-to-fund conversions and cycle times

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of proven sales experience in the mortgage industry as a licensed loan officer
• NMLS licensing
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, and FHA guidelines
• Ability to maintain a pipeline of 15-25 loans
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Encompass LOS and Optimal Blue
• Experience with Day One Certainty Validations, HomeReady, and HomePath products
• Multiple existing state licenses
