Home Infusion RN

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, skilled, in-home infusion therapy
• Complete visit-specific nursing documentation
• Provide clinical education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
• Establish infusion timelines in conjunction with patient availability
• Reconcile medications and supplies for upcoming infusions
• Communicate significant clinical changes to physicians, coordinators, and pharmacists
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Current, active, and unrestricted RN license in your state
• Recent IV therapy experience
• Professional Liability Insurance ($1mil/occurrence and $3mil/aggregate)
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Analytical, critical-thinking, and interpersonal communication skills
• Competence in responding to emergencies and anaphylaxis

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent home care experience
• Critical care nursing experience
