Home Health Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and scheduling for all disciplines providing care for Mount Sinai Home Health patients
• Serve as the primary liaison with external home health agencies for referrals that cannot be admitted internally
• Maintain accurate work schedules, personnel files, and contact information for all home health staff
• Validate licensure for nursing personnel and credentials for supplemental staff
• Enter and maintain staff data using Time Keep or applicable time tracking applications
• Communicate and assign new referrals to appropriate home health staff
• Manage and track home health Plans of Care, including obtaining provider signatures
• Record and validate invoices submitted by external home health agencies
• Coordinate supplies and equipment for the home health team
• Manage sick calls and triage coverage needs, including patient reassignment

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of related healthcare experience, OR
• Associate degree plus 2 years of related healthcare experience
• Proficiency with Time Keep or similar staff time tracking applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
