About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide educational resources to clinical staff to ensure clinical competence
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based education plans for new clinicians
  • Evaluate newly hired clinician performance through competency testing, joint visits, and documentation reviews
  • Serve as a mentor for preceptors to assist in planning patient care activities and providing feedback
  • Teach the didactic portion of the orientation process
  • Manage and update web-based teaching and learning resources
  • Provide on-site support regarding new procedures, equipment, and clinical best practices
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of annual clinical competencies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EMR applications, agency policies, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a clinical field (RN, OT, PT, SLP) or related home health experience
  • Current licensure in the state of Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
  • At least 3 years of recent home care experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous teaching or clinical educator experience
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and E-Learning modalities
