Home Health Care Aide II

Responsibilities

• Provide basic domestic services including meal preparation, laundry, and light housework
• Assist participants with mobility issues, including transfers from beds and wheelchairs
• Remind clients to take medications as directed
• Support personal hygiene needs such as bathing, toileting, and brushing teeth
• Assist with daily activities and changing bed linens based on participant needs
• Document participant progress through written, electronic, or verbal communication
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations to ensure participant safety

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide a caring, positive presence
• Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere
• High energy level and ability to handle a demanding role

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working in a healthcare setting
• Advanced degree or additional college credits
