About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance and assistance in all matters relating to personnel and patient care services
- Oversee and manage patient and personnel assignments to ensure optimal interdisciplinary care
- Coordinate care through development and implementation of policies, procedures, and personnel education
- Manage patient referrals and ensure assessment of patient needs
- Assist in the development and interpretation of the agency's philosophy and objectives
- Establish standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of home health experience
- Proven regulatory or leadership experience
- Knowledge of communication skills for geriatric populations
