Home & Community Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance including light house cleaning and meal preparation
• Deliver personal care such as showering and monitoring health and wellbeing
• Support skill development and social engagement
• Assist with community access for appointments, shopping, and social events
• Promote independence and establish rapport with clients and their families

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support, or a similar qualification
• Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
• National Criminal History Check and Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Note: This position is open to female applicants only due to gender as a genuine occupational qualification
