Home Caregiver/HCA

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal care, hygiene, and ambulation
• Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings, shopping, and running errands
• Provide medication reminders and assistance
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Follow established care plans and document all care provided through charting

Requirements

• Must reside in Mission or the surrounding area
• Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate, PSW certificate, or equivalent (e.g., nursing student or foreign-trained nurse)
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) for Vulnerable Sector (or willingness to obtain)
• Access to a smartphone with data for documentation purposes
