Home Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide essential home help services to aged care clients to maintain independence
• Perform general housekeeping tasks including cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, folding, and ironing
• Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping
• Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities
• Support family carers by providing respite opportunities

Requirements

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Access to an insured, roadworthy vehicle
• 3-6 months of experience in community or aged care settings
• Ability to work independently and solve everyday problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing professional qualifications (Certificate III) through accelerated learning programs
