Home Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Provide essential home help services including general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Deliver personal care services such as assisting clients with showering, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist clients with medication management and therapy goals.
• Provide complex care for customers with high needs, including dementia support.
• Offer social and emotional support and transport clients to appointments or lifestyle activities.
• Build positive relationships with clients and their families to support independence and wellbeing.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of experience in a similar professional care role.
• Proven experience in personal care, manual handling, and medication assistance.
• Experience with hoist training.
• A valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Access to an insured, roadworthy vehicle.
